Visiting Model Homes With Their Realtor. We may not be allowed by the builder to represent you if you have visited the model without us! If we aren't allowed to represent you, we can't offer incentives to you (like closing cost assistance or cash rebates)
Knowing what builder incentives are being offered. Some builders offer so many incentives that Home Buyers are actually coming to Closing without cash!
Getting everything in writing in the contract and reading the contract thoroughly.
Visiting the home site after you visit the model.
Knowing which upgrades to add before closing and which ones you should add later.
Getting a Home Inspection. Even new homes can have errors and omissions which can be missed by government building inspectors. A home inspection you pay for can save you from serious problems later.
