Nine Ways Buyers Win Big With Home Builders

We recently visited Mirada in San Antonio area of Pasco County. Mirada will become a Connected City that will provide an interconnected lifestyle and deliver top of the line amenities including the fastest WiFi speeds in the nation, fitness stations, sports courts, dog parks, green spaces, tot lots, walking and golf-cart trails, and a breathtaking 15-acre crystal lagoon that will feature swim-up bars, water slides, kayaking docks, space for community hosted events, and more.

Our team of professionals has experience with New construction and New Home Buyers. We wanted to offer a few tips on Buying New Construction to Buyers.

  1. Considering Inventory Homes--a completed home is not something a Builder wants to keep.

  2. Knowing When to Buy--NOW!! Nothing is as sure as change and unexpected events can cause rapid change. There may be some advantage to purchasing at the end of the quarter and new communities like Mirada likely have the very best prices if you don't mind a little dust for awhile.

  3. Visiting Model Homes With Their Realtor. We may not be allowed by the builder to represent you if you have visited the model without us! If we aren't allowed to represent you, we can't offer incentives to you (like closing cost assistance or cash rebates)

  4. Knowing what builder incentives are being offered. Some builders offer so many incentives that Home Buyers are actually coming to Closing without cash!

  5. Getting everything in writing in the contract and reading the contract thoroughly.

  6. Visiting the home site after you visit the model.

  7. Knowing which upgrades to add before closing and which ones you should add later.

  8. Getting a Home Inspection. Even new homes can have errors and omissions which can be missed by government building inspectors. A home inspection you pay for can save you from serious problems later.

  9. View and compare New Home Offerings using our New Home Search feature:
